Trading Agent is operated by WU Capital Limited (New Zealand). This page explains how to delete your Trading Agent account and the personal data associated with it, what we delete, and what we are required to keep.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, instantly, in the app or on the website:
- Sign in and open Account (in the app: menu → Account).
- Scroll to “Delete account” and tap the button.
- Type DELETE to confirm. Your account, personal data, and any active subscription are deleted and cancelled immediately, and we confirm by email.
Prefer not to use the self-service option? Email contact@tradingagentapp.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”and we'll do it for you — requests are completed within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and profile (email and name).
- Authentication metadata (sign-in timestamps, security IPs).
- Watchlist, price alerts, paper-trading positions, and saved scans.
- Your signup country code and notification/marketing preferences.
- Founder-feedback message threads (subject to the retention below).
What is retained, and why
A small amount of data is kept after deletion only where the law requires it, or where it is fully anonymous. These are legal-retention minimums, not internal preferences:
