Research on firms needs accounts that can be cited and re-run. Our research snapshot freezes every market at a dated vintage, licensed permanently, with every figure dated by its filing date and companies that were struck off kept in the data.
What you get

- About 4.2 million entities, mostly private companies, from twelve official sources: France, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Slovakia, Latvia, New Zealand charities, US and Japanese filers, Taiwan and Korea.
- Dating
- Every figure carries its filing date, so a study can use only the accounts that had been filed by a chosen day.
- Survivorship
- Companies that were struck off keep their filings; nothing is imputed to fill a gap.
- Reproducibility
- Each vintage is frozen and dated: cite the vintage, and a result can be re-run on the same file.

Where it stops
The research snapshot is frozen at its vintage and carries no updates. Sole traders are excluded, and the methodology page states each market's rules and known issues before you buy. Not investment advice.
Licences
A research snapshot of every market is US$1,500 for academic use, licensed permanently; update packs afterwards are 20% of the purchase price a year. For a whole college, faculty or teaching university, the Academic Institution Licence is US$4,900 a year; for one campus of a research university, US$9,800 a year. It covers staff and enrolled students for non-commercial research and teaching, with the bulk files kept current and API keys, and is sold by signed Order Form and invoice. Who may use a research snapshot?
One named researcher or one department, for research. For a whole college, faculty or campus, the Academic Institution Licence covers every member of staff and enrolled student, by signed Order Form and invoice.
Can our institution pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. We send a formal quote with our company details and whatever supplier or tax forms your procurement office needs.
How should we cite it?
Cite the vintage, not just the dataset: two vintages are not the same file, and the vintage is what makes a result reproducible.
