Trading Agent Data · AI agents and platforms
Company financials an agent can cite, dated to the day they became public.
2.75 million companies and other filers from eight official registers. Every figure is stored as first filed and keyed to its filing date, so an agent that asks what was known on a past date gets only filings dated on or before that day (how each market dates a filing: methodology).
We supply data, not trading ideas.
Who it is for
AI trading and research agents
An agent that turns a plain-language idea into a strategy and tests it needs the figures that were public on each past date, not today's.
Agent platforms
Platforms whose users run their own agents. One MCP server and one API for eight registers, and written terms for passing the data on.
Fintech apps
Apps that show a company's filed figures in an answer, a chart or a company page, with the register and the filing date beside them.
Why dated filings matter to an agent
No look-ahead in a backtest
A strategy tested on 2019 should see only what was filed by then. Query with as_of and every row was filed on or before that date. Each figure stays as first filed; a later restatement never overwrites it.
The agent can cite its source
Every row carries the register it came from and the date its filing became public, and every response names the company's ID at the register and links the register (for France, Belgium, Denmark, the US and NZ charities, its page for the company). An answer can say where a number came from.
Gaps stay gaps
A metric the filer lawfully left out is absent: never zero, never estimated. An agent cannot quote a figure nobody filed. (One exception: the NZ charities register itself serves some blanks as 0; see the methodology.)

The MCP server runs locally in Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other MCP clients that start local servers. It works on the public demo key, with no signup.
# Claude Code
claude mcp add pit-fundamentals -- npx -y pit-fundamentals-mcpAny other MCP client: add three lines to its mcpServers list (in Claude Desktop, claude_desktop_config.json).
"pit-fundamentals": {
"command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "pit-fundamentals-mcp"]
}With your own key, add "env": { "TRADINGAGENT_API_KEY": "ta_live_…" }. The tools:
| search_companies | Find a ticker from a name: "TSMC", "samsung", "2330". |
| get_latest_fundamentals | The most recent value of each metric, optionally as of a date. |
| get_fundamentals_history | Every reported figure with its fiscal period and filing date. |
| get_coverage | Markets, ticker counts and history depth. |
The same data from Python or plain HTTP, as of a past date:
pip install pit-fundamentals
import pit_fundamentals as pf
snap = pf.latest("AAPL", as_of="2022-01-01") # only filings public by that date
curl "https://www.tradingagentapp.com/api/v1/fundamentals?ticker=AAPL&as_of=2022-01-01&view=latest" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer demo"AAPL is one of about 60 companies with full history on the demo key; the rest show their latest year. The demo key is for trying the data. It may not run in a production system or be built into software other people use (Free Licence 4.2 and 4.4), so a product needs a key of its own under one of the licences below.
Which licence fits your use
It depends on who ends up seeing the figures: your team, your users, or your users' own agents.
| What your agent does with the data | Licence | Price |
|---|---|---|
Commercial · US$249 a month or US$2,490 a year Internal agent: your own team uses the data for research, strategy design, backtests, and training or testing your own models. One organisation, API with full history and as_of (Commercial Schedule 5.1, 5.2; Data Terms 24.1). | Commercial | US$249 a month or US$2,490 a year |
Redistribution · US$9,900 a year, billed annually Your agent shows company figures to your users inside your own named product: in answers, charts or small exports. Display, not delivery: no API, feed or bulk files for your users, and an export is at most one entity or 100 values (Redistribution Schedule 4.4, 5.2, 5.3). Bulk files for your own systems are included. | Redistribution | US$9,900 a year, billed annually |
The AI clauses, in plain words
- Training, fine-tuning, testing and grounding models on the data is allowed, within the scope of your licence (24.1).
- An output that reproduces our figures, whether through retrieval, an agent or an MCP tool call, is data. Showing it to other people needs a licence that allows it, and a system other people use needs reasonable output filters and rate limits (24.2).
- You are the provider or deployer of your AI system and responsible for its compliance, including the EU AI Act where it applies (24.3).
- The data may not be used in systems that score individuals' credit or decide employment, insurance or access to essential services (24.4).
- An agent or tool that uses your key acts for you (24.6).
- Unless an OEM Order Form permits it, no competing dataset, feed or API built from the data, and never a model trained to regenerate it (6.1(b)).
Numbers refer to the Data Terms. The binding text is clause 24, Use in AI systems; this summary does not replace it.
