What Trading Agent is
Trading Agent is a quantitative analytics and research tool operated by WU Capital Limited, a New Zealand limited company. The Service publishes statistical model output (predicted percentage moves with confidence intervals), technical indicators (RSI, MACD, ATR, Bollinger bands), market data, and directional reads (Bullish, Neutral, Bearish) across 13 global markets.
Not financial advice
The Service's output is general statistical analysis published to a general audience. It is not investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations to buy or sell any security, and it is not personalised to your financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance. We are not a registered investment advisor in any jurisdiction.
Subscribers may use our output to inform their own trading decisions — but the decision is theirs alone. We have no advisory or fiduciary relationship with you.
Nothing on this site should be construed as personalised financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. We are not a registered broker, dealer, financial adviser, or investment company in any jurisdiction.
Past patterns do not predict future results
The directional accuracy (DirAcc) numbers shown alongside each forecast are cross-validated out-of-sample performance on historical data. They describe how the model performed in the past and offer no guarantee about future performance. Markets evolve. Models trained on past regimes can underperform or fail outright when conditions change.
You can lose money — possibly all of it
Trading and investing in securities involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Leveraged products can produce losses greater than your initial investment. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose.
You are responsible for your decisions
Any action you take based on information from Trading Agent is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any losses, damages, missed gains, tax liabilities, or other consequences arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.
Data accuracy
Market data is sourced from third parties (currently yfinance) and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no guarantee of the timeliness or correctness of any data displayed. Live prices may differ from the prices at which trades actually execute.
Long-horizon forecasts
Forecasts at horizons of one month or longer use technicals only and are flagged low-confidence by design. Their directional accuracy is typically near random. Treat them as exploratory, not actionable.
Directional language
Where the service shows a forecast verdict, we use directional language — Bullish, Neutral, Bearish— to describe the model's direction-of-prediction. This is a statement about what the model expects price to do, not a recommendation that you buy, hold, or sell. Some legacy data fields (e.g. CSV exports, API responses, historical predictions_log rows) may still contain the raw BUY / HOLD / SELL labels we originally used; these are machine-readable codes, not advice.
Regulatory status
Trading Agent is operated by WU Capital Limited from New Zealand as a quantitative analytics & research service. We are not licensed, registered, or regulated as a financial advice provider, financial adviser, investment adviser, broker, dealer, portfolio manager, or any equivalent regulated entity in any jurisdiction. Specifically:
New Zealand — FMA / FMCA
WU Capital Limited is not a Financial Advice Provider under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, and we hold no licence from the Financial Markets Authority (FMA). Trading Agent publishes general quantitative analytics, statistical model output, and technical market data; the Service does not constitute regulated financial advice as defined in section 431C of that Act, and it is not a personalised recommendation to any retail client. The directional reads we display (Bullish, Neutral, Bearish) are statistical observations about model output, not imperative instructions to trade. If you require personalised financial advice, please consult a licensed New Zealand FAP.
United States — SEC / Investment Advisers Act
We operate as a publisher of general financial information under the publisher's exclusion from the definition of “investment adviser” in section 202(a)(11)(D) of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 (the “publisher's exemption”). We do not provide personalised investment advice, we have no advisory relationship with subscribers, and our output is impersonal, of regular circulation, and not directed at any individual's investment objectives or financial situation. We are not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or any U.S. state securities authority as an investment adviser.
Australia — ASIC / Corporations Act
We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). Trading Agent does not provide financial product advice within the meaning of section 766B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and does not have regard to your objectives, financial situation, or needs. Australian users should consider whether the information is appropriate to their circumstances before making any financial decision and may wish to obtain personal advice from a licensed Australian financial adviser.
United Kingdom — FCA
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Nothing on the service constitutes a “personal recommendation” within the FCA Conduct of Business Sourcebook (COBS 9). This website is operated outside the United Kingdom. No part of this service constitutes a financial promotion within the meaning of section 21 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA). We do not invite or induce UK residents to engage in investment activity. UK residents access the service at their own initiative.
India — SEBI
We are not registered as a Research Analyst with the Securities and Exchange Board of India under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014, nor as an Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013. This service is not directed at, marketed to, or solicited from Indian retail investors. The inclusion of Indian-listed securities (e.g. RELIANCE, TCS, INFY on NSE) in our coverage reflects our global multi-market data set and is intended for institutional researchers and overseas users only. Indian residents who choose to access the service do so at their own initiative and accept that we do not undertake any of the obligations that a SEBI-registered Research Analyst or Investment Adviser would be subject to under Indian law.
Singapore — MAS / Securities & Futures Act
We do not hold a Capital Markets Services (CMS) licence or a Financial Adviser's Licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Trading Agent does not provide regulated financial advisory services under the Financial Advisers Act 2001 or dealing / fund-management activities under the Securities and Futures Act 2001. Singapore users should consult a licensed financial adviser for advice tailored to their personal circumstances.
