Three questions to ask any data vendor

Not about data quality — about what the licence lets you do with your own work. Ask these before you build on anyone, including us.

1 · Can you export the raw data and take it with you?

Trading Agent Data	Yes — every endpoint returns CSV/JSON; whole-market files are available as dated snapshots. We ingest from public regulator filings directly, so no upstream vendor contract forbids export. It's written into the licence.
EODHD	Its terms prohibit subscribers from “Selling, reselling, retransmitting, redistributing, displaying, or granting access to the Information or Services, whether in its original or repackaged form.” (their terms, retrieved 2026-08-27)
StockAnalysis	States in its own materials that it licenses market data for display and cannot offer programmatic redistribution or resale of it. (their data page)
Licensed-feed apps generally	No as a rule — retail research apps built on S&P / Refinitiv / exchange feeds are contractually display-only. That is a property of their upstream contracts, not a choice they can reverse at any price.

2 · When you cancel, what happens to your work?

Trading Agent Data	Raw data and other Derived Data: delete within 30 days. Aggregated Results — statistics and findings across many companies — stay yours, as do records of the work you did during the licence (analyses, reports, model-validation records) and what you already published as your licence allowed (Data Terms clause 16.6(c)). A Snapshot has no end date.
EODHD	“Upon termination or expiration of the subscription, the subscriber is required to delete all copies of the data in their possession within one (1) month.” (their terms, retrieved 2026-08-27) — with no equivalent published carve-out for research results at the time we checked.

Why it matters: a "delete everything" clause with no carve-out makes cancelling feel like losing your research. Ours keeps the results of your work, so you can subscribe because the data is useful rather than because leaving is scary.

3 · Can your end users see the data in your product?

Trading Agent Data	Yes — the Redistribution tier covers it at US$9,900 a year, billed annually, with bulk files included. Your end users accept terms that carry the source conditions, the source notices stay on every screen and export, and deletions reach them within fixed times.
Most data APIs	End-user display is typically an enterprise negotiation (contact-sales pricing, often 10–25× the personal tier) or excluded outright. Check the licence before you write a line of code — being unable to ship is the expensive surprise.
