The licence in force for Trading Agent Data purchases from 2026-10-02, published at https://www.tradingagentapp.com/licences/redistribution: the 2026-09-22 text with Japan (EDINET, Public Data License 1.0) added and no other change, frozen on 2026-10-02 with its SHA-256 so that every purchase records exactly which text it was made under. Purchases made earlier remain under the version recorded with them. A revised licence set is published separately as a draft pending review by counsel; it does not apply to any purchase until it replaces this version.

Are you on the right licence?
This licence lets you SHOW the Data to your own end users inside your product — an app, website, newsletter, or service. It includes bulk flat files. It does not allow reselling the Data as a dataset, removing the source attribution, or sublicensing redistribution rights to your customers. For white-label or de-attributed use, ask about the OEM licence — see /fundamentals.
1. What you may do
Display Data values and derived figures to end users of your own products; cache and serve the Data from your own infrastructure; and download bulk flat files for that purpose.
2. Attribution (a condition, not a courtesy)
Every surface that shows the Data must carry 'Fundamentals data: Trading Agent' with a link to tradingagentapp.com, and must preserve the underlying statutory attributions we embed (e.g. Taiwan Stock Exchange under OGDL 1.0; Japan's EDINET under the Public Data License 1.0). Attribution is a condition of this licence: removing it ends the grant.
3. What you may not do
Sell or provide the Data AS a dataset or data feed (that is OEM territory); allow your users to bulk-export the raw Data; or represent the Data as your own sourcing.
4. Upstream conditions that travel with the Data
The Data is republished under the reuse licences of the public registers it comes from, and three of their conditions bind you as they bind us. (1) Attribution: where you display or pass on figures from a market whose source requires it, keep the source attribution we embed, including the 'last updated' date for France (INPI RNE licence, art. 2.4 and 4.4), the Taiwan OGDL notice, and for Japan both the source statement (出典) and the processing statement (加工して作成) that the Public Data License 1.0 requires; if you edit or process Japanese figures further, add a statement that you did so, naming yourself, and do not present them as if the Japanese government had published them unprocessed. (2) Deletions: when a register withdraws a record we remove it on our next update and list it at /api/v1/fundamentals/deletions; if you hold copies, delete the same records within 30 days of their appearance there. (3) Prohibited uses: you may not use the Data to build or offer searches by insolvency, disqualification, sanction or criminal status (INPI RNE licence art. 2.5; French Commercial Code art. A.123-69), and you may not combine it with personal data to profile individuals.
Each market's source, licence and update date are stated on the coverage page and in the attribution field of every API response and download.
5. Continuity if WE stop
If WU Capital Limited discontinues this service, the files already delivered to you stay usable on your tier's terms, permanently, and we give paying licensees at least 90 days' notice. You may bulk-export everything your tier covers at any time while subscribed, so you are never waiting on us for a copy.
This clause covers us stopping, not you cancelling. If YOU cancel, the cancellation clause below governs and this one does not override it. A permanent right to keep and redistribute the raw Data after cancelling is a separate product (a perpetual snapshot licence), not something this subscription grants.
6. Service levels
The API and downloads are provided on a best-effort basis for Personal licences. For Commercial and Redistribution licences we target 99.5% monthly availability of the API, excluding announced maintenance; if we miss it, your remedy is a credit of the affected month's fee on request. Reported filings are added to the warehouse on the update schedule published per market on the coverage page.
7. Derived results are yours, forever
Anything you CREATE with the Data — backtest results, models, statistics, charts, trading records, research conclusions — is yours. It is not 'Data' under this licence, no clause here restricts it, and you keep it permanently, including after cancellation.
8. On cancellation
Within 30 days of your subscription ending, delete stored copies of the raw Data, and stop redistributing it if your tier allowed that. Your derived results (above) are unaffected and are yours permanently. Free-tier usage may continue on free-tier terms.
9. Honesty about the data
The Data is extracted from official public filings: US SEC EDGAR (public domain); Taiwan Stock Exchange OpenAPI under the Taiwan Open Government Data License 1.0 (attribution embedded in every response); Korea FSS OpenDART (public data — the FSS has confirmed in writing that no separate approval agreement is required); Japan's Financial Services Agency EDINET, under the EDINET terms of use applying the Public Data License 1.0 (公共データ利用規約(第1.0版); attribution embedded in every response); the National Bank of Belgium's Central Balance Sheet Office; INPI's Registre national des entreprises under its state-homologated reuse licence; the Danish Business Authority's published annual reports; and the New Zealand Charities Register (CC BY 3.0 NZ). We publish each figure as first reported, keyed by the date it became public, with its reporting basis (consolidated, solo or as reported) and the source attribution. We do not warrant the filings themselves are error-free, and the Data is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind.
The Data is factual, historical information. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not an offer of any financial product or service.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WU Capital Limited's total liability under this licence is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses or consequential loss.
11. Governing law
This licence is governed by the laws of New Zealand. WU Capital Limited, Auckland, New Zealand (NZBN 9429053731630).
