Perpetual Snapshot Licence
This licence is legally binding in its English version. Other languages on this site are provided for convenience only.
Are you on the right licence?
A snapshot is for someone who wants the data itself rather than a feed: a one-off study, a model trained once, or an organisation that will not accept a dependency on a supplier staying alive. If you need the data to keep arriving, you want a subscription instead — see /fundamentals.
The four SKUs
Single market US$2,500 | One market, complete filing history to the delivery date, as a gzipped CSV with a SHA-256 and a field-coverage report. A study, a model, or a product that needs one country and will not need updates. |
All markets US$7,500 | Every market in the warehouse on the delivery date, same format, one file per market plus a combined manifest. Cross-country research, or a buyer who wants the whole asset in hand rather than an API dependency. |
All markets, with redistribution US$29,500 | The same files, licensed to be shown to your own end users permanently, with attribution preserved. A product that will display the data indefinitely and does not want its right to do so tied to a subscription. |
Academic US$1,500 | All markets, one vintage, internal research use by one named researcher or one department, with the institution named in the licence. A dissertation, a paper, or a department's teaching set. Not for a university-wide licence or for commercial spin-outs. |
The academic licence checks out online. The other three are quoted and invoiced, because a perpetual licence names the entity it is granted to and that is not something a checkout form can capture. Email contact@tradingagentapp.com with the markets you want and what you intend to do with them.
1. What a perpetual licence grants
You may use, store, process and keep the delivered files permanently, produce derived results from them, and train models on them. There is no expiry, no call-home, and no clause that takes the data back. If we stop operating, nothing about your rights changes.
Redistribution — showing the Data to anyone outside your organisation — is granted ONLY by the US$29,500 SKU. The other three are internal licences.
2. What it does not include
Updates of any kind. A snapshot is frozen at its delivery date and the vintage is stated in the licence and in the file's manifest. It carries no API access, and no data that became public after the delivery date.
This is the line between the products: a subscription sells the accumulating as-first-reported timeline and the point-in-time query over it. A snapshot sells the file as it stood on one day.
3. Updates, if you want them later
An update pack is 20% of the purchase price per year, delivered as a fresh vintage on the same terms. If you let it lapse and come back, a later pack is priced at 50% of the then-current purchase price rather than backdated.
4. Credit for what you have already paid
Subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months before a snapshot purchase come off the purchase price in full. Subscribing first is never the more expensive path, and a snapshot is an upgrade rather than an alternative.
5. What is delivered, exactly
Per market: one gzipped CSV, its SHA-256, its row and entity counts, the range of filing dates it covers, and a field-coverage report stating what share of company-periods carries each metric. Figures are as first reported and keyed to the date each became public, with the reporting basis and, where the source exposes one, the register's own id for the filing.
Delivery is a signed download link, or an object copied into a bucket you name.
6. The upstream conditions still travel with it
A perpetual licence from us cannot override the registers we republish. Attribution with the last-update date stays on the data (INPI RNE licence art. 2.4 and 4.4; Taiwan OGDL). You may not build searches keyed to insolvency, disqualification, sanction or criminal status (INPI RNE licence art. 2.5), and you may not combine the Data with personal data to profile individuals.
Deletions are the one place a frozen file and a live register differ: a snapshot is a record of what the registers published on its date, and we will tell you about withdrawals affecting it for 12 months at /api/v1/fundamentals/deletions.
7. Honesty about the data
Coverage is uneven by law, not by effort, and the numbers are published before you buy: turnover is present on 64.0% of French company-periods, 10.5% of Danish and 8.1% of Belgian, because filers in those countries may lawfully withhold the income statement or report gross profit instead. Nothing is ever imputed to fill a gap. Read /api/v1/fundamentals/quality and decide before paying, not after.
The Data is factual, historical information. It is not investment advice and not a recommendation.
8. Liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WU Capital Limited's total liability under this licence is capped at the amount paid for the snapshot. This licence is governed by the laws of New Zealand. WU Capital Limited, Auckland, New Zealand (NZBN 9429053731630).
